Summary: Poll location and Remote Management won't work.
For iOS9 and iOS10 users, Apple introduced a low power mode which can be enabled via an alert that occurs when the iPhone charge falls below the 20 or 10% level. Low power mode can also be manually enabled via the Battery section of iPhone Settings.
The overall purpose of low power mode is to prolong the time that you can use your phone before the battery becomes completely depleted.
The main thing that happens during iPhone low power mode is that 'Background App Refresh' is disabled for all apps.
So the question is now 'Which features of Smart24 need Background App Refresh?' to work. The following features require Background App Refresh, and so won't work in Low Power Mode:
- Poll location.
- Remote Management.
For these features, you will still receive notifications when they are used by your monitoring team, and so you can swipe the notification and manually check in if needed.
