Packmaster Lo-Pro Overview:
The Packmaster Lo-Pro II needs to be charged for 5 hours using the mains power supply icon to allow for a full charge. The battery icon on the screen should show 5 bars.
When fully charged the Packmaster Lo-Pro II should power up for 1200 position reports, approximately 10 days at a 10 minute reporting frequency.
It is recommended that the Packmaster Lo-Pro II unit is tested every month to ensure that it is getting a steady Iridium and GPS fix.
When testing satellite units there must be a clear line of sight to the sky at all times. If there is no fix available after 15 minutes of testing, this would indicate that the unit has a fault.
If you are having issues with your Packmaster Lo-Pro II we recommend checking the following:
- Is the antenna securely attached to the unit?
- Does the Packmaster Lo-Pro II have a clear line of sight to the sky?
- Has the Packmaster Lo-Pro II had a full 5 hours of charging?
- Does the Packmaster Lo-Pro II have Iridium and GPS connection? This is indicated in the top left of the screen.
Please see the Quick Start Guide attached below, which can be printed out and provided to end users.
