The front page of the IMS shows the map centred on the coordinates of your chosen location.
The IMS platform uses two primary navigation bars.
Side Navigation Bar
The sidebar at the left of the screen allows the user to navigate to the Dashboard and Media pages and allows you to search for Incidents, Overlays and Routes alongside the map.
Top Navigation Bar
The navigation bar at the top of the screen allows you to search for places on the map to zoom to. This will drop a pin on the location which will remain on the map unless you click the cross in the search bar or right click on the pin and select “Remove this”.
Beside the search bar are the Chart and Table pages the user can view once they have searched for incident data (see Searching Incidents). Clicking on these will transport you to the chosen section of the platform.
The Chat option opens a side bar where you can view and chat with all other users on your IMS platform.
Map Navigation
When your mouse pointer is hovering over the map, using the mouse scroller will zoom in or out of the map. However, if the pointer is placed to the side of the map, it will scroll down the page to the Chart and Table sections.
