As a Smart24 user there are two possible appearances when you have been sent a SearchLight region, depending on if you are found to be inside or outside the SearchLight region.
If outside:
You will not receive an audible alert from Smart24 or the Grid notifying you of the incident. You will only be contacted if your Grid Administrator chooses to do so.
If inside:
You will receive an audible alert from Smart24 notifying you that you have been located inside a SearchLight region. This will appear as below.
By clicking on the notification you will be able to open Smart24, where a new banner will have appeared at the bottom of the app stating that an incident is ongoing near your location.
By clicking on the 'Incident Alert' banner, this will bring up a new screen which will show the following information:
- The option to select your status being either: I'm safe; I need assistance; Unsure, contact me later.
- A map screen showing your location in vicinity of the SearchLight region.
- An indicator of the duration of the incident that has been set by your Grid Administrator.
Please note, you can change your status at any time during the incident.
