Like the Drivers Panel, the main purpose of the Vehicles Panel is to show and give you interactive access to the data that has been sent from each vehicle, including driver and event type.
It contains similar functionality to the Summary Panel, but also gives a more detailed information regarding your vehicles through the Vehicle Details section at the top of the page. Here, identifiable information like the Network Serial Number (IMEI), group and registration number can be found. See how to edit these vehicle details here.
The vehicles are categorised by groups, and it is also possible to search for the call sign (vehicle name) of a vehicle.
You can choose to look at the total number of events from the current day, last week, last month, or select your own customised period. Please note that if you create a customised period, the furthest you can go back is 3 months from the current date.
When a date range has been chosen, an Event Summary will be shown. Also, a bar graph will be displayed on the bottom on the page, breaking down the events by days. You can toggle the different event types on and off to decide what the bar graph will currently be showing. The purpose of these charts is to give a visual summary of the overall number of events received for each vehicle.
Press an event (for example harsh cornering) in the Event Summary section to get more details regarding that event type for the chosen vehicle. For the event chosen, all registered messages will be shown, including details like speed (kilometers per hour), date and time, driver and at what location (longitude and latitude) the message was registered at. The content of these charts are updated every fifteen minutes.
The last known location signal of the chosen vehicle will be shown on the map in the top right corner. It is possible to zoom in and out on the map.
You are also able to see the status of your vehicle under the Vehicle Details section. A vehicle will be classified as Recently Active if any movement from the vehicle has been registered during the past 15 minutes. If not, then the vehicle will be registered as At Rest. You are also here able to see when the last signal was registered from the vehicle.
Please note that if you need live monitoring of your vehicles, then our Grid application must be used as that platform is about real time visibility and alerting for security.
