How to Create a New Maintenance Job Type

Each maintenance job has to be assigned to a specific job type registered on your IVMS platform. It is therefore important to create all the necessary job types that is carried out on your fleet of vehicles. 

The following steps explain how to add a new maintenance job type:

1. Navigate to Maintenance on the Panel Selector (menu) located on the left hand-side of the page.
2. Go to Job Templates.
3. Click on New Job Type.
4. Give the new job type a name. 
5. Add a description of the maintenance job type if you want. This is not mandatory. 
6. Select how the due date will be determined. This can be either by “Distance Driven (km)”, “Fixed Due Date” or both options. 
7. Click Submit Job Type.
   

   

   Please note that all fields marked with a red star will need to be filled out to create a new maintenance job type.
